37 weeks chk done

Last evening went down for my 37 weeks check and also to check if I've dilated.
Before the scan, gynae said if baby weight did not gain much, early delivery needs to carry out.
Surprise to say, during the scan, baby weight had increased another 400grams and its now 2.8kg. She could not explain why in only 1 week, baby can gain so much weight...hehe...So she said it could be under estimated the previous check or over estimated for this check....sigh....this woman....don know wat to say...
Next she then proceed to check my placenta which is still aging and also the water level and pocket space to see if its still sufficient and carried out an internal check to see if I've dilated....
Btw, I've not dilated yet and everything is still good to wait for another week.
Next check shall be on the 3rd Dec at 6.45pm then we can further know if I'm really due for delivery or still need to wait again............

19 more days >>> Feelings now?

My friend, Jessy had been asking me how's my feeling right now? She wants to know as in another 4 months, her little gal will be coming out too and she can knows what she can expect. This is her 2nd child but she said she can consider a 1st time mum too as her boy is already 6 years old now.. She had c-sec for the 1st delivery and she is so brave that she said she will try for natural this time. Kudos to her.

Ok my feelings now;

Slight Worry 40% - Don know what type of symptom and when it will come and when's the best time to go hospital?

Pretty Excited 60% - About Labour process, epidural needed? Mummy must 加油 to bring him out to this world smoothly.

Very Happy 100% - As everything finally going to be over and after a good 9 months of carrying my little kiddo in my tummy, finally able to see how this little boy of mine looKs like and can finally hug and cuddle him. Then as per what my sis said, i can then finally lie down with my tummy and do rocking.....kekeke

After birth thoughts for now (Although not here yet);

Overall, Happy percentage is the highest.

Coconut Water

I started my coconut water on 27 Nov. Its my first time ever since my preggie days. Wanted to drink earlier but couldn't find any in the Hougang drink stall. In the end got my meiZ to buy for me from NTUC fairprice. ITs nice, sweet and its really tasty...yumyum...I still got 2 more in the fridge....going to enjoy 1 more tonight and leave the other 1 one next week....yummy...

Poor him, accidentally hurt his left palm with a screw driver during work yesterday when he was repairing some machine. When he's back home from work during the evening, his wound had swollen. Afraid that he could have got an infection, persuade him to go to the doctor.

Brought him to see the doc immediately to have his wound clean. During that time, got frightened by him when he said he felt like he's going to blackout and he was giving out cold sweat profusely too. Told the doctor immediately but the doc just said that it shouldn't be like that so he asked if his heart is beating fast and then proceed to have his pressure and heartbeat checked but everything was normal. Luckily he did not faint, if not i will be very worried and don't know what to do. I think its because the doctor had jab in too much dosage of anaesthetic into the wound because he said he could still feel the pain. And after the 2nd dosage, his hand had finally numbed and doc proceed to clean and sterilize it. Doc had also given him a 破伤风 jab too and this jab can last him for 10 years. After the cleaning, doc asked him to take a rest outside and can only allow him to go back home if he's feeling alright and not feeling fainting. Lucky he's feeling better and the blackout feeling is gone too.

He's now on mc for 2 days and needs to go back for review and dressing on Wednesday.

Our 1st xmas tree; hehe
Just got a 5ft xmas tree during the weekend and there, its all ready to receive the day.... but no presents below the tree yet....

Its indeed be a very joyous day for me as I will be having my confinement at the same time......gwa gwa.....boring....
Think this year, will get my family and siblings to come my house for gathering if not I will be so so so bored. Need to start my xmas gift shopping list now before baby decides to come out early.....

So heavily preggie

I'm sooooo heavily preggie now. Everything of me is seen so huge.

Pig trotter legs and feet start appearing today and fingers are slightly numb.

Cant really bend my fingers sometimes and could even hear the cracking sound when bent.

My brother was saying that the 'flower' on my leg was growing fatter too.

36 weeks check done

Pretty excited to know how's my baby weight now therefore had pushed forward my 36 weeks checkup till today instead of tomorrow. Just completed the check and baby kayden is only 2.4kg now as per the scan machine which gynae felt baby is alittle smaller. She asked if I'm been eating well and keep asking me to take more carbohydrates food. I've been eating normally and I think i've been eating more carbo food than usual, potatoes, rice, noodles....

Baby head is down and when the gynae feels my tummy, she said that baby should be weighing more than 2.4kg instead. As usual placenta keeps aging but there's still pocket space and water level is still as good. Think its really that baby can't get more nutrients from my placenta and therefore baby is on such low weight.

Gynae mentioned that we will need to see how next week. If his weight didn't increase much and if my cervix had dilated already then early birth is possible......OMG.......early delivery :S Next check shall be 37 weeks and will be on 29 Nov at 7.30pm. Btw, I've got the hospital admission letter already....So now its only happy waiting :)

Wow...36 weeks now....28 days more

Been working from home these few days and gonna be for this week. Not too sure if I can get back to office to work.

Been having difficulties in falling asleep at night and sleep position is neither comfy. Belly is getting tighter each day, though painless but it sure is hard. A little ache and crampness sometimes can be felt down there but think its just the BH contractions or baby head somehow 'drop' down. I'm like a penguin now, waddle my way now but can't walk fast.
Baby movement needs to be monitored regularly as somehow got frightened by a mummy's remark.

Will be going for the 36 weeks gynae check this Saturday to find out more and also to carry out the strep B test. Think its also time to get the admission letter from gynae. Hospital bag had been packed and completed, now its only waiting for the right time to grab and go. Baby please be good and stay in mummy till mid Dec, hope you don't pop now as its still early...

Excited...excited

Wowwow...i'm getting real excited now as my D date is getting nearer and nearer each day.

All our friends' November babies had been out by now!
- Kevin's 2nd child, a baby boy, 3.3kg Caden had been out on 1st Nov.
- Hub's friend, Linda's 3rd child, a baby girl, 3.95kg Alexis had been out on 16th Nov.
- Jenny's 1st born, a baby boy, 4.2kg Keane had been out on 18th Nov.

So coincidence, all of them delivered their babies at TMC.
All of them had send mms to me of their little ones, they are such cutie and darlings.
I will also get to see my own real soon.....excited excited.....

Waking up daily to loo

Interesting.....interesting
This is my daily loo time, 4am or 4.30am. Its so on time that I found it so weird...Hope baby will also had his timing scheduled for waking up during the night for his night feed so I could have more sleep. Hehe :D

YuckS...stretch marK

Found stretch mark on my big fat right thigh...red stretch mark....I had been obediently applying stretch mark cream to my big fat tummy since I was preggie but I've forgotten and not knowing that I need to also apply it to my thighs and legs and thus this is the outcome. OMG...
Faint faint...my thighs and legs were indeed getting huge each day and hope the stretch marks will be gone soon after applying the wonder cream.

34 weeks check completed

Completed my 34 weeks check today. BB Kayden is 2.1 kg now. As usual, gynae said he's a small baby and she said the same that I have an aging placenta and maybe thats why baby is not absorbing and taking in more nutrition to fatten himself. But not to worry as the placenta is still functioning and water level is still good and baby is gaining weight although it falls in the low acceptable weight range. She also said that baby will not be in the 3.5kg weight range during birth but will definitely be 2.5kg and above. Hope during the next visit, baby will gain more weight. This time round, the scan pic is still bb face and feet...sigh...cant she give me some other snapshot of bb scan....Btw....Pray pray.....My next check shall be 36 weeks and on 24 November.

Power Kicks

Everyday I've been experiencing Kayden's power kick and movement. Can really see him moving inside the stomach....so amazing and fun. Is he really so flexible? Really amazing that our tummy space is so small and baby can fit inside us.

Hate It....Arrgghh

Beh Ta Han....Leg cramp friends came back and find me again at night. Been having leg cramps frequently these few nights. Its worse than before where the cramp can last for more than 15 seconds. It used to be just a mere 5 secs cramp and I can release the cramp myself and go back to sleep but now really can't resolve myself, instead have to wake hub up to stretch my leg for me. This is so bad. After the cramp, the leg muscle will still continue to hurt when i walk. Think its the 2 small chilled mandarin oranges that i took last evening. Kena scolded by hub that if I continued to drink cold drink and don't jie kou, he will not help me anymore and leave me to paiN :( ARggh.......

Fatty bombom

Weighing 72 kg during that time with 11 kg add on in pregnancy.

UnComfortable

Since last week, I've been experiencing left shoulder ache and slight hand/fingers numbness. So uncomfortable with the shoulder ache and not sure what I can do with it. Been getting hub to massage it to ease the ache. But the ache will still be back after a while. Sigh...I'm now on 33 weeks only. Don't tell me i need to have this till I've popped. How HOw How? Really hope this can go away..............
